My speech

My speech

On friday I had to do my speech here it is . Hi my name is Eden and today I’m going to be talking to you about what courage and bravery is. Let’s start with bravery. There are two types of bravery, physical and emotional. Physical is when you act and emotional is how you’re feeling. Bravery is when you do something new or something that you’re scared of doing. When I do something new I feel happy and proud of myself but that’s how I feel, you might feel different. Here is an example of being brave, my brothers and I went to this cliff jump and my brothers were jumping off it. I did not want to jump off, my brothers said it was easy and told me how to land so I jumped off and it really was easy. After that I loved doing it.
Now for courage, it is the ability to do something that frightens you. Courage is required to act bravely. When you act out of courage, it gives you confidence, strength and more courage to act braver in the future. Courage is like a muscle, the more you exercise it the stronger you get. Here is an example of courage, this story actually took a bit of bravery as well, now let's get on with it. When i was seven years old me my mum and dad went shopping so we would have enough food to do the Panama Canal. and well we were shopping we meet up with my friends, mum who was staying at shelter bay wich was on the other side of the canal. she asked me aff i want stay with her in shelter bay well my mum dad and brothers do the canal, it took courage and bravery to go with her . thank you for listening to my speech.

  1. HI Eden, I really enjoyed watching your speech! It must've been so much fun jumping off cliffs with your brothers. I liked how you compared courage to having a muscle on your body. Next time perhaps you could read your speech of cards. Ka Pai Mr Milne
